What Exactly is SEO?
SEO or search engine optimization is the process of ranking a particular website with their respective keywords on search engines such as Google.
Ranking means getting on the top of the result using the key term entered by the user. For example, a user searched for “How to lose weight” on google search box. Hit enter and got results.
You will notice websites on the first page of the results to be more related to your searched term. Google tend to filter this out for you and give only the best results according to the words you have searched. You may only see as google giving you the best result.
But in reality, webmasters tend to cheat their way to top of those results to get the most visitors because the more visitors the more money they can earn. And to get the more visitors you need to get on the top because 80% of users tend to only click the top website on the search results.
Google, does not reveal their ranking factors publicly but it was proven and tested that websites that have more powerful backlinks from highly-reputed websites like Wikipedia, WebMD, NYTimes tend to rank better than those who do not have.
Getting backlinks are these websites are hard. But someone offers this kind of service with a great price of course with my research 1 backlink will cost you a whopping US$2,000.
Don’t get scared yet I have something more to say that will ease your fear. Spending money tends to be an effective way to get to the top. There are various ways to get to the top by only spending a little money. Such as the following:
- Create backlinks from free websites such as Blogger, WordPress.com, Jimdo – those free blog platform websites. FREE
- Sharing your website link with Social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram. FREE
- Guest Blog on some niche-related websites. FREE
- Build a PBN or Private Blog Network. NOT FREE
Those are just some basic to an expert method on climbing your way to the top of Google search results. I won’t be extending this blog post on how exactly to do things you may do your own research on how to get stuff done.
